PhD scholarship recipient presents poster at [email protected]
University of Newcastle student and Prevention Hub PhD scholarship recipient Elloyse (Elly) Saw presented a research poster at the [email protected] conference.
Elly's research seeks to evaluate an online program for carers of people with anxiety or depression, funded as part of The Prevention Hub.
Minds Together for carers will focus on information, skill building and access to an online portal to facilitate social support.
"The outcomes of this research will build on existing evidence-based interventions known to reduce the physical, social, emotional and psychological impact on carers," said Elly.
"The online format will address accessibility issues associated with existing face-to-face programs, which is a current service gap."
